Keep right up to date with what goes on at South Kyme … Please visit the following pages:
S.Kyme Events - I try to keep abreast of all village events. If anything is obviously missing please contact me with details.
Church - for your services schedule. Congregations are dwindling so why not turn up on the first and/or third Sunday of the month to show your support. Use it or lose it. To have our church sold off for conversion to residential use is unthinkable. It’s just an hour. You might even enjoy it.
Clubs etc. - For other events such as Bowls, Keep fit, Boules, Table Tennis etc.
The Hume Arms - Vijay and Maeve put on several events throughout the year for your entertainment. Details can always be found on this web page.
Want to dance? Or Want to learn?
Monday mornings at 10.30am for an hour: A weekly Beginners and Improvers class for those who want to learn and for those who would like to get back into it. Following on from the Beginners & Improvers class, an advanced class will start at 11.30am for an hour.
It was off to a foggy start, but the sun shone through as the morning went on.
Very pleasing 28 entrants, including 2 dog walkers.
Everyone was in high spirits, even at the finish line. Runners then enjoyed a mug of homemade soup and slice of cake to replenish the energy levels.
An excellent example of our great community spirit with plenty of volunteers to help marshal the route, provide water, photograph the event, time the runners and man the kitchen. We raised £220 for village funds
