         3 River Challenge 2015

We had a really successful day.

It was off to a foggy start, but the sun shone through as the morning went on.

Very pleasing 28 entrants, including 2 dog walkers.

Everyone was in high spirits, even at the finish line.  Runners then enjoyed a mug of homemade soup and slice of cake to replenish the energy levels.

An excellent example of our great community spirit with plenty of volunteers to help marshal the route, provide water, photograph the event, time the runners and man the kitchen.  We raised £220 for village funds

Christmas is Coming

Do you recall last Christmas? The church bedecked with poinsettias, the Beer and Carols evening at The Hume and the Salvation Army carol concert at the village hall.
