Best Kept Small Village 2010 CPRE Runners Up 2014 South Kyme Pétanque (Boules)

On Saturday 13th August 2011 the inaugural Boules session was held on the new South Kyme Pétanque Terrain at the rear of Coronation Hall. The event was complemented by a splendid BBQ and licensed bar run by CMJ Bars. By my reckoning around 100 people turned out to take part in this historic occasion. Many that attended now play the game on a regular basis during the Summer … 7pm - 9pm on Mondays.

they’re looking forward to playing the game on a regular basis.

Opening Day

Summer Play - As the evenings grow longer during April - May, we can think about a new season of Pétanque.  We meet behind the village hall at 7.00pm, A payment of just .£1.00 or £2.00 per session (depending on the available time for play) will be required to go towards upkeep of the terrain. Club boules are available but please bring your own boules if you have them. The season ends as the evenings grow shorter, curtailing play. We now have some simple lighting to extend play as the nights draw in.
